My Heart Behind This Blog
Welcome to Mercy in Motherhood—a space created from the beautiful mess of real life, real faith, and real motherhood. I’m a full-time working mom of two, navigating the same chaos, exhaustion, and joys that come with raising little humans while trying to hold onto my sense of self, purpose, and peace. Like many parents, I’ve wrestled with feelings of overwhelm, guilt, and the constant pressure to "do it all."
But recently, something shifted. I joined a Bible study that reawakened my spirit, especially through the encouragement of Paul’s letters—to share our gifts and draw others closer to God. That’s when the idea for this blog was born.
I hope here you’ll find relatable Psalms and scripture reflecting that speaks directly into the craziness of parenting, working, and simply being human. My hope is to make God’s Word approachable, practical, and comforting for anyone who feels buried under the demands of life. Whether you’re a mom, dad, caregiver, or just someone in need of a little grace, you’re welcome here.
This is a place to catch your breath, reconnect with God, and remember that His mercy meets us right where we are—in the laundry piles, carpool lines, conference calls, and bedtime battles. Let’s find encouragement together, one Psalm at a time.
